Intermountain Health Community Initiatives

Intermountain Health’s mission is “to help people live the healthiest lives possible.”

To bring that to life, we positioned Intermountain caregivers as a critical part of your everyday support system, an important part of your circle, without pretending they’re the whole answer. That kind of humility (especially from a billion-dollar healthcare system) is genuinely rare.

We built that idea into a full community campaign: several long-form videos called The Circle of Support Initiative, that brought community members and caregivers together to talk about real issues like teen mental health, women’s health, food insecurity and diabetes. More episodes on the way.

The work drove a meaningful lift in awareness and consideration, and increased brand preference across Denver, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Montana, especially among primary healthcare decision-makers.

The “Strongest Play is Asking for Help" is a mental health initiative by Intermountain Health, featuring some Las Vegas Raiders players, that promotes vulnerability and seeking support as a sign of strength, countering stigma by emphasizing that mental wellness is crucial and everyone, including tough athletes, faces challenges, encouraging open communication and connection to overcome struggles. The campaign uses athlete testimonials to normalize mental health struggles and provides resources, highlighting that reaching out is powerful, not weak.
